Classes in Orange!
Our new teaching kitchen, located in the historic district of Orange, is up and running. Brought to you by the kitchen design firm Le Gourmet Kitchen, our new facility is full of state-of-the art Dacor appliances and beautifully appointed cabinetry and counters, and stocked with our favorite pots, pans, knives, tools and gadgets. Gourmet Series
Not a prerequisite to individual classes in this schedule, but definitely recommended for anyone looking to build a bit more confidence in basic skills. Composed of “mini-series” to suit cooks with different levels of experience, each “mini-series” contains 3 or 4 classes, and will focus on a different level of skills.

Basic Cooking Skills
$225 for three classes

Traditional Holiday Tamales
Thursday, December 16, 6pm; Instructor: Octavio Montoya
Menu:
Learn the traditional way to make tamales stuffed with chicken or beef;
Gorditas stuffed with tri tip in red salsa;
Churros with cinnamon & sugar.
Please plan for approximately 4 hours for this class.

Holiday Appetizer Party II

Menu: Sopes with shredded beef in red sauce; Lobster pastry cigar; Lavender & honey glazed duck on toasted brioche; Wild mushroom popovers; Coconut-cranberry chews. Price: $90 per person, per class.
Holiday Appetizer Party III
Thursday, December 9, 6pm; Joe
Menu: Baked brie in puff pastry with honey-walnut sauce; Chesapeake crab cakes with creamy tartar sauce & cilantro-orange dressing; Marinated vegetables a la Grecque; Cocktail meatballs with Burgundy wine & mushroom sauce; Individual holiday confetti miniature soup cups with garlic toasts. Price: $85 per person, per class.
Beef Wellington
Saturday, December 11, 5pm; Joe
Menu: Arugula salad with sherry vinaigrette; Beef Wellington with Madeira sauce; Roasted seasonal root vegetables; Bananas Foster. Price: $95 per person, or $115 with wine pairings.
It’s All About Cookies!!
Saturday, December 18, 9:30am; Joe
Recipes: Brown sugar ginger snaps; Coconut-cranberry chews; Pecan maple buttercream sandwiches; White chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Plenty of cookies to take home! Price: $85 per person, per class.
