The Gourmet Crash Course!

Practical, economical everyday cooking! Learn to be more effective in your kitchen, and more efficient with your food budget. In this class designed for home cooks, you will acquire practical skills for making family meals at home, including advance preparation tricks, quick meal techniques, and tips for economizing. You will also take home plenty of food after every class!

Gourmet Crash Course

Class meets on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 2pm, for 4 weeks in a row.
Dates Offered:
January 4-27, March 8-31, May 3-26, June 7-30, July 5-28, September 6-29, or October 4-27

This 4 week, 12-part class will feature instruction from a trio of our Executive Chefs – Chef Octavio Montoya, Chef Laurent Brazier and Chef Maurice Brazier. Includes a “welcome” orientation evening with the chefs where you will meet your fellow students and the instructors, and enjoy some food & wine. Limited to 6 students only! Price: $1,500 per person for the 12 sessions, including a chef jacket that should be worn during class. This class must be taken as a series – no date substitutions.


Register NoADVANCED (Level II)
Gourmet Crash Course
Dates Offered:
November 1-22, February 1-24 or August 2-25
All classes will focus on higher style plate presentations, featuring new cuts of meat and different types of fish from Level I, with new and exotic fruits & vegetables introduced. Price: $1,500 per person for the 12 sessions, prerequisite is the Level 1 Crash Course. This class must be taken as a series – no date substitutions.

This class takes it all a step further, and is suitable for those wishing to take their learning to the next level to apply to interesting ethnic cuisines beyond those explored in Levels I and II, plus learn about wine & food pairings. Price: $1,500 per person for the 12 sessions, prerequisite is the Level I and II Crash Course. This class must be taken as a series – no date substitutions.
